Residential electric costs in New Holstein are lower than most of Wisconsin’s investor-owned utilities. Because community-owned utilities do not operate to make a profit, you pay only for the cost of service. This allows us to provide competitive electric rates for the services that we provide.
New Holstein Utilities continues to make investments into the water and sanitary sewer infrastructure that serves the homes and businesses of the community. These investments are being made to ensure the infrastructure provides safe and reliable water and sanitary sewer service. Even with the investments being made in the infrastructure, New Holstein still has rates that are in the lower half of communities our size in Wisconsin. Our monthly costs to serve residential customers are higher than other communities in Calumet County and the area.
