Spring Recycling Event Set
Where: New Holstein Utilities Garage, 1819 Park Avenue in New Holstein
What: Electronics, light bulbs (incandescent, fluorescents, HID and LED lamps), ballasts, batteries, televisions, dehumidifiers, window air conditioners and refrigerators. Large quantities of fluorescent lamps (> 12) should be placed in their original boxes, the end of the boxes should be taped and the number of lamps inside the box should be written on the outside of the box.
Why: Through recycling we achieve environmental stewardship and eliminate taking unnecessary waste to the landfill. Materials that can be salvaged are reused. Every product collected is recycled by our vendors. This helps to prevent toxic heavy metals and other hazardous waste from getting into our water resources.
